Ballard Pop-Top

The project scope was limited by budget and by the build-out constraints of a condo-ized structure. This shed-roofed addition is accessed by a minimalist stair (tucked into an existing hallway). The bedroom feels light-filled and spacious while respecting the neighboring condo owner’s view. The book bench was built by me out of salvaged fir timbers with hot rolled steel dividers.
